SkyBlueRed Art and Events

SkyBlueRedThrough many of years working with schools , collaboratively with other artists, on community projects and  arts workshops for all ages and abilities, SkyBlueRed can supply everything you need for a successful and fun project .

We believe that the community can beIMG_0275nefit greatly by having access to high  quality local artists with the right teaching skills. We are able to work with your school or group on collective projects, or towards a lasting piece of work such as a mosaic or fabric banner, all finished to an excellent standard, and using ideas children have developed themselves.

·         If you are an art co-ordinator looking for an a workshop or event for your school, we can help. With experience of assisting schools to achieve ‘Artsmark’ accreditation and providing CPD training for Primary Schools, we are able to work with curriculum objectives and can match school themes as well as assisting schools in providing great excellence and enjoyment opportunities for children.

We  particularly enjoy working with adults with special needs, and base our arts practice on a ‘person centred’ approach, providing the skills to allow each adult to fully express their own ideas and creativity, whatever their ability .  Miki, a long time primary school teacher before and during the settiRENOIRng up of SkyBlueRed, also led local arts business and teashop SkyBlueRed Studio. Work at the shop included planning and running courses for the general public and Special Educational Needs day service users. Miki has DBS in place (please contact us about how the change to this legislation affects you).
